Dogster - MIA?

Dogster, If you're lurking, would love some itinerary advice re: Ahilya Fort and Devi Garh.
Has anyone else stayed in both these places? And...does anyone know the status of Mr. D?

Hmm. Not too many pennies around anymore.

So, in the esteemed canine's absence, What do you think - How is 4 nights Ahilya, 4 nights Devi, 1 night Agra (plus one night upon arrival in Mumbai)? And in what order?

I guess 4 nights each at both Ahilya & Devigarh, is one night in excess. It will depend on what kind of itinerary you have. On a routine itinerary, 3 nights should be fine. Remember you are then reducing time at other destinations. You could do Jodhpur and stay at the Umaid Bhawan Palace and if that falls on a festival date, it will be a bonus, for the Jodhpurs are known to participate on such occasions.
Hope it helps.

Thanks, VP. I agree...would love to go to Jodhpur, but the logistics are challenging, and Udaipur will be cooler in late September. Waiting to hear about how we're getting from place to place and will then post the itinerary. We usually like to stay 3-4 nights at each stop and avoid one-nighters.
