Does Angkor admission also include the Roluos group

I'm thinking that I'd like to see the Rolous group of temples first, in sort of an effort to see Angkor in generally a chronological order. What I know of the admissions plan though is that there is that the passes for various lengths (we'll get a 3 day) are purchased at the main entrance enroute from Siem Reap to Angkor Wat.

Does anyone know if the Rolous group is covered by the same admissions fee, is it separate or not charged at all? If there is still one of the passes required, must one go to that main entrance first, or is there a purchase point at Roluos?

Yes, the Roulos group is included, as is Banteay Srei. You must purchase your temples pass at the main entrance. There were no other visitors there when we visited the Roulos group.

Thanks to you both. I'm still considering this route, but the stop at the entrance may add some time so will have to decide if that's the best approach.

Stopping at the entrance won't add much time to your drive to Roulous. If you are arriving the evening before, you can buy a three day pass in the evening that is good for the next three full days. I think the pass must be purchased 4 pm or later.

That's a brilliant idea. Unfortunately, it looks like the timing doesn't quite work out as we get in around 1pm on Bangkok Air. But if it doesn't take long, then no worries. Will just swing by if we finalize Rolous as a first stop. I just didn't want to sidetrip to the ticket booth and then find one at Rolous anyway!
