Also please add "the Dilli Haat" to your shopping places list. It is situated in south Delhi, opposite INA market (has the Sagdarjung hospital also on one side). For local flavor try n visit the Sarojini Nagar market (nr Dilli Haat) and Lajpat Nagar market - great places to buy "salwar kameezes", if u can brave the crowds (avoid going on a sunday if u dont like crowded places). Also if u r interested in food, pick up a copy of the 'Delhi Times Food Guide' from any book stall (cost Rs 100) - a slim red volume - will give u a good picture of where to eat. (Bombay also has one)
