Is this only for Craig to answer or are you open to others' opinions about CO and AI?

I fly CO coach from Newark to Delhi non-stop. I like it because its departure and arrival times are sensible. I arrive in Delhi around 9pm instead of many flights that arrive 1 and 2 in the morning.

Also it departs Delhi around 11pm instead of 2am.

The service is good enough and the food is tolerable (but it is airplane food after all!).

My only experience of AI from JFK to Delhi was they had a lot more babies and kids on the flight. AI fares are usually cheaper so I think you'll find more of the families with kids travelling on AI (I could be wrong, but the less little kids the better for me).

AI hasn't been well recommended much on the Asia Forum. CO is a better choice IMO.

jj - you don't have to start a new thread every time you have a question. As far as my recommendation is concerned, CO's departure time from Delhi is more convenient for you than AI's.

I don't know if CO offers this. But, AI ends up being cheaper because you can also get a free city included. For example, you could spend time in Mumbai for a few days as your stop over to Delhi. I also really like the food they offer. Having said that, I've never flown CO.
