Craig- Re your buddha
Hi Craig- I am really hoping to get something similar to your Buddha from Artisans d'Angkor.
Do you by any chance remember about how much it cost and the approximate shipping fees?
Was looking for your trip report, but the search feature seems to be acting up at the moment...
Thanks! Hope things are going well in CT.
Lucy

Hi, Lucy - good to hear from you.
I think the shipping was like $100 or so.
Here's the link to my trip report:

Wow, your dining table cost way less than the one I had shipped from San Diego!
I got the tickets TO Siem Reap. Still hitting Bkkair site every hour or so hoping to pick up seats BACK to Bangkok on the 31st or even the 30th.
Everything else is in place...Oriental for 2 nights over Christmas, Hotel de la Paix for 4 nights in SR, and waiting for an okay on 2 night extension.
If they can't, I've got Prince D'angkor booked for those 2 nights, then to the Bangkok Pen for 3 nights incl New years, and finally the Salisbury YMCA for Hong Kong. (I got lazy and it is just so much cheaper for 2 harbour view rooms than anywhere else)
Any favorite eating spots in HK?

If we got rid of the Jones Act shipping overwater from the US would be alot cheaper. Unreal that the prices from CA are more expensive than bkk. I do a lot of shipping from the west coast for my business so it is a pet peeve of mine!
