Chiang Mai Rydges

Hi
Where does everyone find the stay for 3 night - pay for 2 night rates?
I find very reasonable rates but cannot find that deal.
How does Rydges compare to the Sheraton
Thanks

I would not stay at the Sheraton--lousy location and not good value. I have not stayed at the Rydges but had a positive experience at Chiang Mai Plaza. No charm but great location, good value and large rooms. I booked through asiahotels.com

Here it is.... stay 3 nights for price of 2 and airport transfers are also free! Includes tax/service/breakfast, B 1,500 single or B 1,700 twin.

It's a bargain, Rydges is a large Austrlaian hotel group.

Rydges is best for location, Novotel a bit out of town ( Novotel is part of the French Accor group ), but very good value at about USD 48 twin. The all suite Jirung Health resort and Spa is further out from Chiang Mai center, about 30 minutes but is good if you want a relaxing place to have some spa and massage, it's all suite place around USD 90

Thanks so much James, the Sheraton is out!!
I will check out those two sites right now - but I was able to find it on your other favorite sawadee. Sounds like a really great deal - is the Novotel much nicer than Rydges?
Thanks
