Chiang Mai Restaurants

I'm interested in recommendations for restaurants in Chiang Mai. We've eaten at Whole Earth and Jasmine. Also, we've had the Khantoke dinner. Any other other suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

The Good View, The Gallery, The Riverside - all in the same area by the river - nice atmosphere, decent, resonably priced northern Thai food. Also Once Upon a Time on the river near the Sheraton.

Our favourite Thai Restaurants are the Gallery on the river and the Galae at the top end of Suthep Road, in the Foresty Department HQ.

Top French restaurants are Le Coq d?Or and The House; there is a definite Thai influence with the meals at The House and it also has a Tapas bar.

Our favourite German restaurant is Nobody?s, behind the Amity Green Hills Hotel, but easier to find is the Hofbrauhaus near the Night Bazaar.

This might sound strange, and we love Thai food, but we ate almost every night at the little food places at the Night Bazaar and found them to be superb!! I can't remember the name of the one that we ate at most but it was delicious and the quality and quantity was better than any Thai restaurant at home...
