Bangkok Airways ( seasonal though )

Shown as not operating for example in May , but in June shows dep CM 0955 arr 1135, 1 hr 40 mins with Boewing 717 twin-jet, though July, departs CM 1025 arr Samui 1300, so 2 hrs 35 mins, ATR-72 turbo prop 64+ seater.

So varies, it dpends what time of year you are going.

THB 5,445 one way approx

Otherwise via BKK with Bangkok Airways or Thai ( Thai though only twice a day Bangkok-Samui and one is early morning, so only the later one would connect )

Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are not the same. As James said, *sometimes* you can fly from Chiang Mai to Samui, but then you still have to get to Chiang Mai from Chiang Rai.
