Can Tho Hotels Vietnam

Will be spending one night in Can Tho as part of a Mekong Delta tour- with a choice of hotels: Saigon Can Tho, Golf Can Tho or Victoria Can Tho.

I realize that the Victoria is obviously the best choice but wanted to know whether it is really worth the considerable extra money to stay there for one night. We will require a triple room.

Not many reviews on tripadvisor.com so looking for your advice.

Thanks

Look for Femi's trip report... She stayed at the Victoria Can Tho, and her review is a must-read for anyone thinking of staying there.

Oops! Wrong Victoria hotel that was so bad - it was the Victoria Chau Doc.

Do read Femi's report - Passage to Indochina... from December 2007.

We stayed at the Golf last year and it was very pleasant. Clean, big rooms, good breakfast, and when I asked for a hawaii discount, they gave us one! Ask for a river view.

Kathie I still get those cities mixed up too!

Lavendar, as I haven't visited the other hotels it is hard for me to compare. But I'll pull up my trip report so you can get an idea of what it was like.

The Victoria is beautiful. I enjoyed the hotel so much. I think it is the better choice.
