Travel Time - Yokohama to Narita & Yokohama to Kamakura
I tried to check this online but wasn't finding it quickly so once again I look to my Fodor friends for help.
We will be staying in Yokohama and I need to book a morning departing flight from Narita and I am wondering how much time I need to allow. I believe we will take an express train.
We also are thinking of taking a day trip to Kamakura depending on how long it takes to get there and back.
Thanks in advance!

I have not booked the flight yet. We are going to fly from Narita to Seoul on 4/19 and I want to leave early enough to meet our son in Seoul for dinner. We are staying at the Yokohama Sheraton so we are right at Yokohama station. Are the airport buses faster? Do they have fairly roomy seats? DH is 6'7" and hates getting crammed in!

No, the buses are not roomy. They are cramped. I took a bus to Shinagawa from Narita Airport once. The seats are two-seat benches facing forward. I had to use both seats in order to fit my legs. So maybe not a good idea for your DH. The benefit is that the bus goes door to door from hotel to airport without you lugging your luggage around.
I am pretty sure there are flights from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Seoul ICN. Also to Seoul Gimpo.

Asiana has a 4:45 AM departure from HND for Seoul ICN , which is terrible. But there are flights on Asiana, Korean, ANA and JAL from HND to Seoul GMP throughout the day.
The limo buses are great for convenience, but are not as spacious as the trains.

I booked our flight from Narita to Seoul, got the best deal thru Asiana but had to take a flight later in the afternoon which may be better to allow us plenty of time. I am looking forward to this trip but not the planes, trains & buses! We only have 10 days and much will be spent on the go. I was happy to see that it is a quick trip to Kamakura from Yokohama! Thanks for all the input!
