BKK to Ko Lipe in One Day?

So I have a flight from BKK to krabi at 1030AM or so.. Think I can make it to Ko Lipe in a day? I can re-book to Hat Yao (its a wednesday) if there is room left on the flight..
I am in Afghanistan without the aid of any travel books, so actual bus and boat travel info and schedules are pretty difficult to discern..

I'll just keep posting questions on here, sooner or later someone will answer???

Thanks!

Boats probably are going to go up until about 1.30 pm or may be 2, there are several operators, it can vary if a boar goes later but leaving BKK at 1050 would get you to Krabi at about 1150.
If you can leave BKK anytime then get the earliest flight to Hat Yai and from there to Pak Bara, most cater for the budget market so tend to go from the rail station as opposed to the airport, it depends what sort of budget you are on, if budget isn't a worry then just sort a driver from Hat yai Airport to get you straight to Pak Bara.
Now make sure you have plenty of 'cash' with you, better to get at BKK though Hat Yai has ATM's, but none on Koh Lipe, so stock with cash at least by the time you leave Hat Yai.
Otherwise you will probably end up overnighting in Trang area ( which is ok, whether beach or simply an average town hotel in Trang for the night.
Otherwise you really have to go for those earl am flights into Hat Yai, there is the flight to Trang but Hat yai has the higher frequency and more competative all round. Boats can change with the wind, but i general boats would head out in order to get back to Pak Bara before it gets dark, this if often the rotation anywhere.
That's the best I can do for you.
Get the earliest you can to Hat Yai !

It's w awhile since I was down that part of the country butI am sure the same applies, you need one of theose early flights unless you take the option to head down the night before, but that all depends on when you are getting into BKK and whether yo are staying for any time in BKK.
