A couple of days in Bikaner is fine during the Camel Festival being organised on 19-21?? January 2019. Otherwise it can be best done in a day, for it has the Junagarh Fort which does have some fine artifacts and the golden Durbar Hall is very attractive. Apart from that the Karni Mata Temple or The Rat Temple locates some 20 miles on the road to Jaipur.
You could stay at Hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace. The Gajner Palace, again some 20 miles this time on the way to Jaisalmer is a fine property on the banks of the lake. Since the command centre is in Udaipur, sometimes the service lacks that extra zest most appreciated by the foreign traveller...HRH are you listening?
Happy travels!

You can overnight at Nagaur. The Ranvas is a beautiful property. It is expensive. The other property and very nice at that is Fort Khimsar. This will be about 70 miles short of Jodhpur. This is reasonably priced in comparison, and you would love the dinners in the ruins of a medieval structure. The best time to arrive there will be by 3:00Pm. The sunset will be beautiful as you watch the shepherds, bringing home the cattle, from the ramparts of the fort as you sip your coffee.
Enjoy your travels!
PS: I assume that your query pertains to your travel between Mandawa & Jodhpur.

Stop in Samode. Excellent restaurant in the Palace. If you do not wish to stay there then at least lunch there with a tour. You need to book in advance.
Bikaner can be seen in a day. The Fort is large and you should take the English Audio Guide unless you have a good guide yourself. The voice on the guide is very good. You can have lunch/dinner at a restaurant just outside the Fort and see it lit at night. This restaurant also have reasonably clean toilets, though it may be scary at night as it is outside and below the restaurant, - go in pairs at least.
