Can someone post this here as I do not want to post my mail address? I am spammed to death at work already and it will kill my junk mail if I get more. Would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

It is not appropriate to post the whole document here not least since it is far too long, and is intended for personal use and not for the public domain. It is a simple enough matter to put your email address here in a form that is clear to the reader but not to address-harvesting software, such as 'm y na me at m y do m ain dot c om.'

Apologies for the slow rate of reply to requests at the moment as I'm travelling extensively in China. Please do remember to include your email address (in any form you like) if you wish to receive a copy of the walk notes.

Peter: I would appreciate receiving copies of your recommended walks in Beijing. We are arriving on October 18, 2007 and contrary to your very valid observations regarding tours, we are booked on an A & K tour starting October 21. But in the interim we would like to be adventurous and do some exploring on our own. In other cities we have booked walking tours with academics from the local universities. Is it possible to do that in Beijing or would you suggest that we just strike out on your walks? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
