Bob...They didn't ask specifically for a passport, that's what I took for my "required" piece of ID. As I mentioned, I just turned 50 and my friends are 29 and they really took some time to look at, all three of us, and our IDs. I thought I'd be able to just breeze on by, without ID,and get in, but that didn't happen. As for reservations, I had a friend call three days before we went and we had no problem getting in. Happy Travels!

My daughter went in with us on a week night, and again on a friday with teh fixed menu. She said the entertainment was basically the same. It is different every night, but there was no more or less weekday vs weekend.

Also said the club looked like a lot of "old people" (she and BF are 20)and they did not stay after dining.

the nite we were at bed the guests were mostly 25-35 i would say....for kids its not exactly a cheap place to go so i suspect it is more for the working upward mobile rather than for the student age kids....plus the food is very chic and probably not geared to the younger generations...the portions are only average size as well....most students love to eat....

When I was there I would say most people were 40-65. Many were ex pats who had retired to Thailand. There were some people who were in their 20s and 30s and a few who were 70 plus.

oops..meant to write that my daughter thought the NIGHTCLUB section had a lot of "old" people. She and BF loved eating there, as did all our family.

She was also impressed that on the fixed menu night they created vegetarian dishes for her.

I went to the club about 2 years ago and I thought it was one of the lamest/boring upscale clubs I've ever been too. just about no one really dnace. Just shuffled around next too the tables. and yep it was full of midle aged dudes. but I guess it has now become the HOTTEST geriatric Club in the world..

the place is really cool looking so it's worth a look.

I've dined at the Bed on several occasions now and have enjoyed it each and everytime. The "Club" part is not for me. We walked in there for a look, but there was nothing that would get me back there, but the Supper Club, YES, absolutely! The "Club" was full of upwardly mobile 20's and 30's folks, while the Supper Club is all ages! An interesting mix.

One has to be at least 20 to get in, I was told by the Thai friends I went with. So, if any of you have kids, then they won't be able to get in. Plus, it's not a "Kids" place anyhow. It was nice to, for once, dine at a totally,"adult" place. Happy Travels!
