Rajas def the best for mens suits. Beware tho - lots of Rajas imitations. Original is on Sukhumvit Soi 4, Nana. Very exp but worth it. For dressy womens stuff NY Silk behind the Oriental Hotel. Have fabric too. For good fitting at more reasonable stuff for men and women, JimMan Tailors on Sukhumvit Main Rd, Asok, Soi 14. Have material too - or you could walk down the road to hang Sien for an amazing range of linen fabric then get JimMan to tailor it.

I've been very happy with Cotton House at Oriental Plaza. She's a lovely woman and very reasonable. Good ideas and everthing has been very well made.

It seems that most tailored clothing is for suits and silk items. Would it be possible to have jeans tailored in Bangkok? Is denim fabric available? If yes, would the same tailors recommended for suits and dresses be good for jeans?

Thanks! My daughter, who has a hard time finding jeans to fit, will be grateful for your feedback!

rhkkkmk,
since we will be staying at Mariott, we will try your recommended tailor. So the name is Monet Il Sarto II? Or is it shop name? What is the tailor's name? Is it adjacent mall to Marriott? Do they do both men and women's clothes? We will tell them Bob reffered us! .
How many days does it take to make a suite ? Sophia

the tailors name is jack...it is on the 2nd floor of the mini mall...his shop overlooks the parking lot above mcdonalds...he can do things quickly but give as much time as you can for fittings....go as soon as you get there...he is there about 10AM...send an e-mail and make an appointment...if you want
