- To get there, take a taxi, or the MRT subway and exit at Hua Lamphong Exit 1: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8050959513/
- You can also arrive by the THB 30 tourist express boat to Rachawongse pier and make your way down to the southern part of Yaowarat Road: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/6754737373/
- The Neo-Renaissaqance style Hua Lamphong Station which was opened in 1916, is a great place to visit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8050960049/
- Next, I'd visit Wat Traimit (Temple of the Gold Buddha) which is on the way to Chinatown Gate: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8050967856/
- Yaowarat Road. Starting at Odeon Gate this is the main attraction. This major thoroughfare snakes its way into Chinatown. At night this street full of food vendors and street-side restaurants: http://milepoint.com/forums/threads/.../#post-1695561
- Odean Gate; A feature seen in most Chinatowns, a gate devoted to the King of Thailand: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8050972156/
- Thien Fah Foundation: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8050977120/
- Try the Canton House for Dim Sum: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8050982124/
- T&K Seafood along the sidewalk "restaurant" (the green restaurant) for great grilled river prawns: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8051003447/
- Or, you might want to try "the red restaurant" with basically the same quality food/prices located across the sidewalk from the green restaurant: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8051006823/
- You might also want to try duck beaks at Texas Suki http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/8051012865/
Many other restaurants, temples, and shrines in this very interesting area. I recommend starting your walking tour no later than 4 PM. More photos here: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Chin...20%40N03&s=int

Bangkok Food Tours offers a Chinatown food tour. We took another tour of theirs which was excellent. www.bangkokfoodtours.com

You really don't need the food tour for Chinatown, you can do your own.
However, the food tour of the Bang Rak area of Bangkok was excellent and highly recommended, especially if done with Khun Kit: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalboz/6729997485/
