Bangkok Bucks Party 6 days 15 blokes Budget $1000 Flight + Hotel
Hi guys, myself and my friends are thinking of Bangkok for a bucks party in November.
We are thinking about $1000 for flights and hotel as that will be better for everyones budget.
We are interested in Patpong as we want to party, but dont know much about areas around Bangkok on where to stay.
Thanks Matt

What's a "bucks" party?
Your $1,000 budget, we don't know how much you are going to spend on your flight since you did not disclose it. We don't know how much is left for a hotel and how many nights you want to party.
I presume this will be before you $30,000 honeymoon?

Well that helps. So 6 days = 5 nights and assuming your friends and yourself split up into 2 person per room that will give you a budget of $200 per room per night.
Check Sawasdee.com and look in the Bangkok hotel list. Input your budget at over $100 and choose "BTS S2 Sala Daeng(Interchange with MRT) in the "or near" list. From there choose whatever appeal to you and it will give the hotel's distant from the BTS station which is right outside red light district.

Nana (soi 4 Sukhumvit area) also has that Patpong sort of feel to it. Maybe even more-so. You could stay at the Ibis just down the street from all the bars for pretty cheap; and you get b'fast with your room.
The Sukhumvit Grande Hotel is also very close to Nana (it's on soi 6). I don't know what the rates are, but this used to be a Sofitel, so it's pretty fancy.

matt, where will you be coming from....most flts from usa run over $1000 and just now are $1200-1500.
from UK it might be less but not that much...
you can get a decent room in bkk for $50/night and a really nice one for $75-90. tax is 17%.
beer and drinks are cheap outside of the "entertainment" areas so pick your bars carefully... watch out for "imposters" and date drugs.... and DISEASE.
hanuman was the first customer at most of these places i have been told???

Perth Bkk in November - you should get Economy flights/ hotels for $1000. Check Thai , Malaysian and Air Asia. Thai is direct but the others are doing some very good fares just now.
Watch out for yourselves! Load of young blokes together- as they say - recipe for disaster Have you been to Thailand before? Given half of Perth goes to Phuket each year (and the other half Bali) I imagine you have.
