Bangkok Air to Siem Reap- Discovery Pass or Not
I need to book rdtrip flights BKK-Siem Reap for 2 adults and 2 children in July. On the Bangkok Air website the price is 42,670 baht. I called for the Discovery Pass and the price is $1236 including 1 leg to Phuket which we probably would not use. So the Discovery Pass is about $200 less, but if we don't show for the Phuket flight will there be a penalty? How should I book?

Bob's answer is it...
No one has ever reported being penalized, but of course it's possible.
We just took a trip with the Discovery Airpass: HKG-REP, REP-BKK and BKK-Phuket. We did not use the last leg. No penalty so far. We did use a CC.

Thanks for the responses. It is reassuring to know that someone else bought the pass but didn't use the 3rd leg. The Phuket leg would be at the end for us. Did you cancel the reserv. or just not show up? Does the price sound right- $349/adult for 3 legs?
