Ashikaga Flower Park accommodation

Do you have any recommendations for accommodation near this park? Is it easy to get from accomodation to the park itself?

You need to peruse the Japan-guide website.

You need to be more specific - what kind of accommodations are you satisfied with? And what exactly does "near" mean to you?

Never mind. It was a general question and I only needed some general ideas and information as its a first look into the area. Just trying to see what sort of thing was available and where before I decide whether to go there or not. It seems that the question elicits the "You need..." type of responses so I'll withdraw. I am not an inexperienced traveller and don't much enjoy being spoken down to.

You are not being spoken down to. But unless you give more info it's a wild goose chase trying to help find the most suitable accommodations. So please give more thought into how expensive a place you are considering, as well as how much your destination is a priority and fits into your overall itinerary. As one idea, you could stay at a Toyoko Inn in Ashikaga City - nothing fancy, but clean, quiet, decent, internet ready, conveniently located and they throw in breakfast for free. No way of knowing if that satisfies you or not - or you could always use the typical booking engines like hotels.com, agoda, booking, com et al and plug in Ashikaga City - but you already knew that.
Best regards.
