I was wondering if anyone could help me determine the best places to visit in SE Asia. My husband and I are taking our 2 kids (9 and 11) around the world for 8 months. We are going to be visiting Australia, New Zealand before we arrive in Vietnam.

We are looking to spend 7- 10 days in Vietnam, 7 - 10 days in Cambodia, and 7 - 10 Thailand.

Any suggestions?? We are looking for places to stay as well.

If you use the "View by country" tab above you''ll find a lot of trip reports for those countries. Most guidebooks also have suggested itineraries. All three countries are great destinations, but you need to tell us your interests.

Hi There

I guess I am looking for suggestions on what to see and do with young kids in Vietnam. We are thinking out 10 days and splitting the time between Ho Chi and HaNoi. We were thinking CuChi tunnels for a day, war museum, water puppets and then flying to Ha Noi to go on a Halong cruise, seeing the imperial city, and the perfume river. Flying back to Ho Chi and leaving to Cambodia. But since we have not been there I don't know if we are missing something or if there are great places (not mentioned above) to take kids.
