Anyone stay in Shanghai Julu Garden Villa?

My Chinese colleague liked the look of this and sent to me. I wanted to try the Quintet nearby but this looks interesting too! There is nothing on Trip advisor but it looks lovely and is near the QUintet B&B I was looking at earlier. Its actually 1-2 street away from Quintet in the french Concession. Check it here http://www.chineseye.com/Shanghai/Ho...illa-6198.html

ANy feedback would be great looking to book on Monday.

Siobhan: I haven't been to Julu Garden Villa, that is a lovely street. If you haven't stayed at the Ruijin Guesthouse, I'd suggest give it a try first.

Are you in Dublin? We will be there early October, would you like to get together?

Shanghainese When will you be there. I am in Shanghai a week for work with my Chinese colleague based there but I also left myself enough time to explore a bit after appointments this trip on the weekend. I am starting to look at it from a point of view of possibly moving there next year. Its just in the thought phase at the moment but I am meeting up with people and connections to see if i could get work and make the move with my husband.

I will ask K my pal about the Rujian Guesthouse. I have walked the area and like it a lot so I am looking forward to walking the neighborhood in the evenings and sitting with my book in a cafe in Taikang Lu. I also looking forward to some new clothes as its just too expensive these days in Ireland with the recession and pay cuts so happy days!

Siobhan: It would be fantastic if you could get work in Shanghai, and definitely stay in the french concession.

I meant we will be in Dublin early October, and are you based there?
