Any recommendations for drivers in Beijing?

Oh for heaven's sake. People without two words of Mandarin to rub together do this all the time, and have even written to describe their experiences here in the past. All it takes is the smallest amount of gumption: get your hotel reception to write down your needs in Chinese (date and time of departure, destination, and time of return) and just show that to a few drivers. Prices are done with a pen, or with a mobile phone screen. Every single driver has a cell phone, and probably so do you.

I dont think so, some drivers are very polite, if you have good luck you may meet driver who can talk English
