Golden Sands is large hotel, plenty of facilities, very clean sandy beach. About 15 minutes into Hua Hin. Mark Land is opposite the beach in main part of Cha Am. Note: At Cha Am there is a road between the beach area and shops/hotels. Around Hua Hin there is 'no' beach road hence you do not have traffic/vendors etc hogging the beach area.Beach at other hotels is better than you will find in central Cha Am. Blue Wave is at South Beach in Hua Hin, quiet part of the beach. Club Aldiana is about 20 minutes south of Hua Hin and has been taken over to re-open as the 'Evasun' in October, 5-star plus, I think this hotel is closed at the moment, anyway it ceased to be the'Club Aldiana' some time back. <BR>From the group of hotels I would say Golden Sands or Blue Wave, however I would suggest the Anantara or the new Marriot Resort are both excellent, about 5 minutes into Hua Hin, nice beaches, excellent standards.. Try www.asiatravel.com for a good choice of hotels in Hua Hin and Cha Am.

Golden Sands or Blue Wave, agree though Anantara and Marriot are both very good indeed, also Dusit Resort and the Regent excellent but naturally more than the Golden Sands or Blue Wave.

www.huahinhotels.com or www.asiatravel.com are good hotel sites for Hua Hin. I'd say Anantara or the new Marriot are best but if you need cheaper the Blue Wave is ok.

Agreee 'Anantara Resort', 'Marriot Resort & Spa' probably best bet. The beaches are quieter than Hilton and Sofitel, but all these are 'absolute beachfront' as in Hua Hin hotels are actually on the beach and 'not' across a road like in many places.

Blue Wave was very good value, takes about 6-8 minutes into Hua Hin town. Club Aldiana is closed for moment byt opening soon as Evason. Try the Marriot Resort, great bargain at around US$75 for a twin including breakfast. Hua Hin Hyatt Regency opens in September.
