Angkor Wat hotel and guide
I will be in Angkor Wat/Siem Reap for two full days the first week in january. Can anyone suggest moderately priced hotels? We dont' need luxury - just conveneient adn clean (we'd rather splurge on accomodations elsewhere on our trip).
Also, any suggestions on guides for Angkor Wat?

We stayed at the Passagio Boutique Hotel, $60 for a big room. As guide we had Ponheary Ly, she was great. you can reach her at [email protected]
She also has a guesthouse. She comes highly recommended on this site.

we also stayed at the passagio in october.
nice big room on top floor, cool tile and good a/c. you can walk to the market just over the bridge. we used the guide from the hotel...just as a driver...
if you spend more than $65 a nite (includes breakfast), make sure there is a pool as it is
blazing hot and a pool would have been a nice addition.
