Am I the only one NOT finding cheap tickets to Asia?
It seems like everywhere I go, people are talking about thier amazingly cheap tickets to Asia. I am traveling to the Philippines in July and am not finding prices any cheaper than previous years. Am I the only one not finding the deals???

Find an ad in the Travel section of the newspaper, that promotes it low fares to Asia, visit the agent in person and tell them you are totally flexible and he/she will have to give you a fare that was advertised.

I am traveling to Singapore next week (then continuing on to Bali using frequent flyer miles). Online fares on United and Singapore airlines are in the $655-$900 USD ex-New York. Other airlines have similar fares. I woud also check orbitz.com, expedia and the like.

Thanks you guys! I have a ticket on hold with a travel agent for just over $700. It is an okay price. I am checking all the consolidator sites until the purchase time--maybe I will get lucky!

Hello all,
I am in the process of helping my parents book their trip to Seoul/HK in October. They want to fly straight to Cheju (or Jeju) Island (from NYC) instead of staying in Seoul. After Cheju, they would like to fly to HK. Any hotel recommendations for both Cheju and HK (Kowloon area)?
Perhaps there is a tour company that can arrange all this?
Thanks in advance!

NOTE manila is not a big hub in ASIA and dosn't attract as many cariors as other cities. So airlines will not heavally compete in that market. Im not too sure how much more you can save off of that initial $700 quoe...

Recenlty back from Bangkok, KL and Bali. Flew Dublin to Bangkok with Lufthansa, through a consolidator. But booked internal fkiights on the internet. Check out AirAsia. Excellent, punctual, cheap, good network.
