ACC limo services

Does someone have the current website for ACC limo in Bangkok. The web site I used in February has expired and I can't find a new site.

Bob, what happened? Was going to use them again in December. Last year, when we used them in November, they were great (1st time using them.)

What fast service the fodorites have...Thanks for the fast information. While I have not had any problems, it never hurts to have back up. I may try AOT also. Can you make reservations online?

Have also been very happy using AOT. Just stop at one of their many kiosks.

Visit the AOT desk prior to picking up your checked luggage. There is a counter next to the baggage carousel. This will save you some time.

We've used AAC Limo several times and mostly it's been fine. However there was one famous ride during which it became apparent that the driver had no idea how to get to the airport. Unthinkable, but amusing in the end.

I don't know of a way to make reservations with AOT ahead of time. Usually, they are right outside the baggage claim area. However, in November there was once when we flew in when there was no AOT rep there. We used AAC in November for 4 trips between the airport and our hotel and had no problems, as usual.

I've used AOT before and they are fine. They are a bit more expensive than AAC, and we found that their stated price and the posted price were not the same and we had to point out to them that they had a "special price" on the sign.

I don't know if AOT does reservations on line or not. I've never had one and have never had a problem. As soon as I get to baggage claim, I go to take care of the AOT car arrangement business as the counter is right there in baggage claim. Then, after that has been taken care of, I go over to get my baggage and the rep is right there to take the luggage to where the driver is. I've never had to wait. Happy Travels!

What are the approximate costs of ACC vs AOT? Are tips and tolls added?

you pay the tolls usually which amount to about 60 B depending on where you are going...you need B...

it depends where you are going as to the fare...AAC has them listed on their site...

basically its about 800-1000 B each way into the city from the airport...

the main reason for using them is two fold....they have big trunks which will hold average luggage---taxi trunks are not bug enough and you have a bungy situation, which i do not like....secondly its nice to have someone there waiting for you or who comes immediately when called by their rep---no lines like for taxis...

Tips and tolls are additional. Last time I was there, AOT was about 1200 baht and AAC was about 1000 baht. WHen you set up an online account with AAC and book online or if you book a roundtrip, you get a discount.

Kathie's right. I booked online and I received a nice discount--it was 900 baht from the airport to the Peninsula. Well worth it, IMO.

But, perhaps their prices have gone up since last year?

I'm guessing that because the gas prices have gone up, the AAC prices have likely gone up as well. I also paid 900 baht in November, which is the discounted price. "Regular" price at that time was 1000 baht.

btw, the taxi prices went up last month too....for instance you used to get 2 kilometers for your first 35 B and now you will only get 1
