Thank you all. I am a strong woman and Mom but this one is bringing me to my knees. I have found a very good psyciatrist (she talks and listens, not just a prescriber) in our area who specializes in young adult mood disorders. My husband and I saw her yesterdy and got education and hope. If we can just get him into treatment (the hard part) there is hope.
eigasuki, I am following your trip reports from the road in Japan now, and really enjoying them. Keep them going please, they are appreciated and really give me a bright little break in the day.

Just to update on the sakura, I have lucky to catch them wherever I have been so far. They were out everywhere in Hiroshima, Onomichi and the islands I visited do the Shimanami Kaido. Yesterday was sunny and they looked stunning contrasted with the blue ocean and the green mountains.
Here in Matsue they are fully out with pink throats showing and with the rain we are having, will probably be over soon. The train here runs along a river and is lined in many places with sakura. It was getting dark so I am hoping they will still be in their prime on the return journey.
