Can't say they are the prettiest, but still quite cute and decent looking.

BTW, CO seem to have hired more Chinese FAs on their Asian flights. On my flights to/from Hong Kong, they have about 4 of them on each flight.

Your point being????

I've found that the more experienced FAs, particularly on long hauls, provide much better customer service. They seem to get attuned to what each passenger needs / wants.

Would you like to bring back the pink hot pants era of PSA?

If you read this forum or others, you'll see plenty of comments by various posters saying about how much younger and prettier the FAs are on Asian carriers, compared to US ones. [However, you won't find any such posts from myself.]

So, here are some pictures to indicate there are exceptions. For those travelers who choose their airlines by the looks or age of the FAs, some US airlines can also offer something these people want.

Clear?

How shallow one would have to be to choose an airline or flight based on the appearance of the flight attendant? Wonder if those people would pick a doctor because she is young and pretty?

But saying they are "decent looking" objectifies them just as much as other posters who have negative comments. It's like saying that "all Chinese people are x" is racist without knowing what x is.

BUT pink hot pants, properly worn, are a good thing.

While I don't pick my carrier based on FA appearance, I also don't care about political correctness. When I see pretty people, I like to comment on them, regardless what their occupation.

Criticize me whatever way you want. I couldn't care less.

<<How shallow one would have to be to choose an airline or flight based on the appearance of the flight attendant? >>

Obviously there's quite a few of us shallow people, as Singapore Airlines are one of the worlds most profitable airlines and their adverts focus almost entirely on the looks of their air stewardess's. (Singapore Girl)

Hmmm, wonder why I don't care what the FA's look like?

I do appreciate a flight attendant that doesn't have a butt so big that I can squeeze through the isle without too much contact.

But if the one's with the smaller butt want to make contact, that's ok.

I used to love the FAs on Branniff Airlines, in the mid '80s, who were a bit older and seasoned, but provided exceptional service and kept passengers in line better than any other group of FAs I've ever encountered.

When the plane arrived at the destination, each would put a white glove with sequins on her right hand, and shake the hand of every exiting passenger, saying, in a husky, whiskey-voiced Texas drawl, "I want to THANK YOU for flying Branniff!"

Thanks, blightlyboy.

I'm still adding photos to that gallery. For those who wonder, but are too offended to click on those links, here are what you're missing:

- Baffin Island, Greenland, North Pole, and islands off Hong Kong

- Screenshots of the AVOD system on Continental's brand new 777s.

- CO bus ads in Hong Kong

- Mountain ranges of Taiwan

- other stuff like the shower at President's Club at EWR

To be added:

- Islands of Okinawa

- Niagara Falls

rkkwan

Is the AVOD on Continental's 777 in all sections or just Business/First?

AVOD and 110V power on the two new 772s, ships #19 and #20. I was on #19 EWR-HKG.

The other 18 still have the old system, and only Empower Row 1 through Row 23 (but not 16).

These 18 planes will be retrofitted one by one in the coming months.

dutyfree - Why? Because I didn't post your pictures?

Why don't you email me some photos and I'll post them up? Hehe...

I would send you pics Rkkwan but then my identity as "Skygoddess Supreme" would be revealed. Just hope that my passengers think that I am "still quite cute and decent looking"? I am told that I have a great personality though...........

dutyfree - Upon second thoughts, if you work for DL, then probably not a good idea to post pictures, as you must have heard of "Queen of Sky".

Hahaha. Say what you want, but those two pictures have more views than any other in my gallery!

Same thing happened when I posted pictures of the Houston Grandprix. 24 visitors for the gallery of the cars, 38 for the Miss Grandprix of Houston beauty pageant. People like to look at pretty girls more than anything.

Here, if you want to make that choice too!
