Using part of my airline ticket.

I am flying from Montreal to London, England by Air Canada and then to Warsaw, Poland by LOT. As I am traveling to Dubrovnik, Croatia, I was wondering what Air Canada would do if I flew from Venice, Italy to London, England and did not use the Warsaw, Poland (LOT)portion of my ticket.

I assume the whole trip is on one ticket. Your return portion will be cancelled if you skip a leg in the middle.

You are OK only if the Montreal to London and London to Warsaw tickets are separate. If they were purchased as one transaction then you will stuck in London as rkkwan said. Call Air Canada and see what can be done. BMI flys from Venice to London and is an Air Canada partner. The change fee might not be too bad.

yes, the rest of the itinerary would be cancelled automatically if you are a "no show", and there is no recourse if there is a problem (luggage, etc..)on the flights you do get on.

kotku,

Why not call the travel agency or the airline that issued the ticket and see how much would the change fee be for doing an open jaw? It could be an expensive option as there may be a fare difference charge besides the change fee, but if you don't ask, you won't know......

Montreal-London-Warsaw
Venice or Dubrovnik-London-Montreal

Good luck!
