UNITED OR AIR NEW ZEALAND

I can fly either airline free. Which would you chose and why? What should I consider? They are both flying the jumbo747 with the upstairs which is great.

Hands down, Air New Zealand. They are friendly, service oriented and one of the best airlines I've ever flown. By contrast, United is rude and seems to have no understanding of customer service at all!

I agree. We did LAX to London Heathrow on ANZ last year and the same trip this year on United. Take New Zealand any day. Great staff & attitude. United just wants to be a bus, no service!

ANZ without a doubt. Our domestic carriers are poor at best. Another poster hit it on the head..."service oriented." United is oriented in a different manner and it definately is NOT service.
