United new flat beds in business-which routes first?

Does anyone have any info on which routes/planes will be redone first with the new flat beds
in business class? United web site says Fall 2007, but has no further info even though I check regularly. Also, need any info on how long whole refit will take and specifically info on Hong Kong routes from west coast. Thanks, Fodorite friends!

I don't think anybody knows, especially for the 772s and 744s. First ones won't start to show up until around December, with the 763 conversions starting sooner.

Oh, according to UA's press release, the whole process will take until late 2009 to finish.

First routes will be ex-IAD, IIRC - and the 763's are expected to be the first aircraft upgraded.

Best, Dave

Does anyone know if it is going to be horizontal flat (a la BA) or slanted flat beds? Any idea when they'll upgrade trans-atlantic routes?

Horizontal flat:
http://www.suitedreams.united.com/

I don't believe there's published conversion schedule. The information above is about all that's out there at this point.
