Tight Connection

I have a flight to Bangkok from SFO that leaves 45 minutes after I land from San Luis Obispo. Skywest comes in at Term 3 and the United flight to BKK leaves Term 1. I assume I can check bags all the way through but am wondering if I'll have enought time to make it. Any advice?

Thanks

Don't even think about it. A 10 minute delay in the commuter rig will scuttle the plans. Take an earlier flight to SFO.

ooops message was sent incomplete..

I agree to fly earlier to SFO.

In the remote event that you would make it in 45 minutes, most probably your luggage would not !

You may be able to get a later flight out of SFO. I believe that your current flight is UA 837. That flight stops at NRT enroute to BKK.

I checked the schedule for Jan. 22. There is an SBP-SFO flight that arrives at 10:29 (United 6257 operated by Skywest).

UA 837 SFO-NRT-BKK is scheduled to depart an hour later, at 11:29. Somehow you've got a 45 minute connection on your date.

UA 853 departs SFO at 12:54 bound for NRT. That flight connects to the NRT-BKK leg of UA 837.

So this is an option, but perhaps only as a backup plan (because there would be no backup plan left). It would be better to be scheduled to get out of SBP earlier.

Here is a map:

Your arrival would be at concourse F. Departure from concourse G (gate G100 probably).
