Thai A330 or ANA 767

If you had to choose a redeye flight from BKK to NRT which would you choose (flying in Business Class): Thai Airways A330-300 or ANA 767-300ER?

Haven't flown either, but I'd choose ANA. ANA has several types of business class seats, but I think their 767 should have the "Club ANA Asia" type, with 2-1-2 seating, AVOD, etc. Looks pretty good.

Photos of the Thai A330 on airliners.net also look pretty good, so I don't think you'll lose either way.

I checked out the photos at airliners.net for the Thai seat and then called USAir FF and got that. Looked like the seat went pretty flat. Then I called ANA and and it is the Club ANA Asia seat, 2-1-2, but when I called US back there were no seats available. I could try again, but once again you're right: can't lose.

Did you see the FC seats at:

ANA's New FC is like UA's Suite seat, but not available IAD-NRT.

Well, I have a trip to Hong Kong in coach coming right up. It's depressing to look at all the nice C and F seats!

Yes, it is a different world up front. Have a good trip, rkkwan. I will be looking for your report on making your connection at NRT since I will be going through there just 3 days after you. My plan has changed so that both flights are in terminal 2 and will have 5+ hours instead of both terminals and 90 minutes to connect.
