Southwest closer to going abroad
Southwest Airlines on Thursday gave its clearest indication to date that the world's largest low-cost carrier would launch international flights for the first time.
The Dallas-based airline said it has furthered preparations to launch cross-border flights with partner ATA Airlines, though Gary Kelly, chief executive, said the domestic market would remain its primary focus over the next two years.

No. Where is it. I must say, I really enjoyed it on my last flight with British Airways. They came by with coffee after dinner. I said, no, but could I have another wine. They replied, "certainly," and "cheers." And of course, "no charge."

The free booze on Southwest Airlines was a counter-marketing move against American Airlines for giving away 20,000 round trip tickets flying out of Love Field (of which my husband & I were glad recipients!)...competition is a good thing.
