Did you get red or white wine to go with the sandwich? And how about that fasten seat belt sign? Details please.

BTW, you got to check out Qantas. The pilot says, flight attendants, prepare for landing BEFORE the fasten seat belt sign comes on. They turned off the Fasten Seat Belt sign 5 minutes after flying out of Heathrow. As the flight attendant said, if it's a blue sky, there isn't going to be any turbulence.

BTW, I only had to wait 20 seconds to get through immigration in Miami, however, a few years ago, it was faster than that!

wally - I can't drink on 737s or other smaller planes (or in the Rockies). Somehow, altitude (or actually the lower oxygen content) and alcohol doesn't mix well. I only drink on the widebodies these days, and only light beer.

So, I got a Coke Light for my NAP-LGW flight instead.

If you only drink light beer, I would stay out of Munich.

wally - I drink full-strength stuff on the ground unless in high altitude. I can definitely go to Munich and have a beer. But not on a 737.

Oh, wally. Remember that I was in Italy for over a week, where wine is same price as diet coke at many restaurants.
