I haven't seen this question on this forum (I looked!), and maybe it's been answered before, so apologies in advance for not finding the answer.

My global entry was coming up for renewal this year, so I renewed it. Just got my approval notice. I have the same membership number, and the letter stated that I "can begin using the program immediately."

Nothing is indicated that I have to go for another interview, or if I will be receiving an updated Global Entry membership card (which I think has an expiration date on it -- don't have it in front of me).

Does anyone know if a new card is mailed to me, or do I just use my old card? There's nothing on the global entry website or anything on the link that allows me to "review the program criteria for detailed information".

You DO NOT have to go for a new interview. You'll get a new card in the mail in a few days.

You can begin using the GE kiosks immediately.

Thanks again. Received the new card last week with the old picture and new expiration date. Love that picture . . . no wrinkles!

Be sure to go into your GE online acct and update your new passport number. When we renewed a few months ago I just assumed it would update, not sure why I thought that. Anyhow it did not and when we went thru GE in December it was rejected, talking to the officer he let us go thru and told me we could update the info in person or online.
