Question about Southwest Airlines

We are flying to Las Vegas tomorrow on Southwest, for the first time. I have 2 questions:

Do they have (or sell) any kind of food on board? We fly from Buffalo to Baltimore to Las Vegas with no time to buy lunch in between flights.

Is there any way to check in early for my return flight if I don't have access to a computer?

Thanks for any help.

Southwest does not sell any food. THey will give you a bag of peanuts and/or crackers on board.
Soda and water are free on board.
Most passengers on longer flights will brown bag their own lunch.
You should be able to buy sandwiches and salads to go at BWI.
Most hotels have a computer in the lobby that guests can use and check in on line.
Also southwest just began a new program for a $10 "fee" you can select early check in. Just check their website for this option.
I used it this week and did not have to do anything until I printed out my Boarding pass at the airport and recived A-38.
Nice.

Ditto. If you really don't think you'll have time in BWI, buy something in Buffalo before you leave. [I'm using the new early checkin option next week so will see how smooth it goes.]

Some of the hotels (like Paris LV) have kiosks where you can check in to flights. I think the charge is $5.

Actually, I think some Southwest flights sell food; last Oct DH flew MCO to ABQ and was able to buy a sandwich. Not sure if that is typical or was a trial thing.

I am sure when we flew from Buffalo NY to San Francisco they had sandwiches at least on one leg. Check out the website, they must have it, on which flights they sell food. You should know, SW is cashless, confirm if you can use Debit card or only Credit card.

As for early check in, they don't do it by phone, but you can pay $10 to check in early - within limited time frame, is it 36 hours only? Not sure. Besides, how do you check in early? Don't you need a computer for that anyway?
