Am in the process of booking my honeymoon to The Maldives, flying via Qatar Airlines. Has anybody any experience flying with them? How is the comfort, food etc etc....... This is quite important to us as it is a 12 hour flight from the UK - and having spent all our money on the wedding and honeymoon, we can only fly coach (economy)

wow - Qatar airlines have some rave reports on that website! Lets hope they live up to those standards

They are fine, their A-300 do not have seatback TVs but the new A-330's do, service is very friendly and food is nice. You have a stop in Doha which really breaks the journey so just 2 hops. I have used them between Bangkok and the Gulf and they are on par with Gulf Air and in my opinion better than Emirates, good choice.
