Thanks for all the info, Gardyloo! It's so nice to hear the real deal from people who have actually experienced the flights. You're correct - I'm going STL-ORD-FCO. Sounds like I'll be lucky to have new business class sections in both AA & Iberia. Any seat recommendations - I'm guessing they're all good. My trip is so far away, but already I can't wait. Thanks again

Just wanted to update - I am officially booked to Italy! Thanks to everyone for their help. I really appreciate it.

All in all, I paid $68 in taxes for a business class ticket that costs over $7k online! So I think that is quite a good use for my miles.

I'm very pleased with all the routing & times too. And excited to try out business class on both American and Iberia.

I will be sure to post a trip report on the Europe forum when I return.
