Besides Air France, Delta and Alitalia, are there any other airlines that have nonstop flights from LAX to CDG?

We didn't have a good experience on Air France going to CDG. The leg room was horrible. The seat in front was just a few inches from my knees. Our return flight was fine – what was expected of a coach flight. But going to Europe was very uncomfortable. Absolutely no room – and I'm 5'3". I had a bag on the floor and couldn't even get to it. I hesitate on using Delta or Alitalia due to the fact that there are always talks of a strike and/or bankrupcy.

Two airlines fly this route. Air France and Air Tahiti Nui. DL and AZ don't fly this route, they only codeshare on AF's flights.

Who's talking about strikes or bankruptcy at Delta nowadays? They are doing comparatively well now.

Guess that depends on your perspective. They offered last week a severance package to 30,000 employees (which is over HALF of total employees) and cut backs in capacity of up to 30%.

DL's financial health is irrelevant to this thread, but it is doing fine. It's aggressively cutting domestic capacity to cope with the fuel price and recession. It has lots of cash on hand, and is one of the strongest airlines in the US, financially.

But note they are not trying to get rid of 30k employees ... only about 2k. And that is in the realm of baby fat.

...and capacity cutbacks will be mostly under performing and unprofitable flights and routes. Most is good business sense.

We had a very nice flight on Air Tahiti Nui (TN) from PPT to LAX, with individual TV screens in coach. The ongoing flight TN 022 from LAX to CDG operates 6 days a week !!

If you have some doubts flying Air France again, then check your travel dates with TN!

I have to say we had a completely different experience on Airfrance. It was our most enjoyable flight for our Europe trip.

Our flight with Air France going home was just fine. It was the plane for the outbound flight that was completely different.

Perhaps we'll give them another try or try Air Tahiti
