As far as I know they only have the business class sleeper seats on their Germany/South America routes. We will be flying LAX/FRA in January.

Sorry, I see you said sleeper seats not full flat beds. The beds are on the South America route.

Thanks bajaflash,

I was just hoping that the newer business class sleeper seating would be available on most of their longer distance flights. I do know that so many airlines are in the process of refitting their b. class with this type of seating. I always find it difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep in a standard bus. seat however I shouldn't really complain because it's a far cry from flying coach.

My husband and I flew BC from LAX to Munich last summer on Lufthansa. It was wonderful. The service couldn't be better and seats were way comfortable. No problem with sleeping. In fact, we are thinking of going back to Germany so we can fly Lufthansa again.

I have flown BC from SFO to Frankfurt and the service and comfort was an A+. Much better than what you receive in first class on US carriers nowdays. It is well worth the extra money. The sleeper seats are very comfertable and you will be able to get a nice rest during your flight.

Sounds like we have made the right choice for our flight to Germany. Thank you for your comments.
