Anyone ever fly them. We are specifically looking at the JFK to Heathrow flight. Also, How do you book a seat? What website works from the U.S. I heard they were really cheap to london.

Here is a link. Sounds like poor food, no alcohol, entertainment systems that don't work well.

Thanks, I saw this. Has anyone ever booked online with them and flown to london on them. I heard it is like only 200 dollars round trip. To good to be true?

Archi...I occassionally have access to an airline GDS system.....If you look at one of those, it will tell you the fare is $208.00 roundtrip. When you go to book it, the fare totals out at $438 and change.Fuel surcharge, taxes, taxes, and more taxes....So , yes, the fare itself is cheap.

You didn't say when you want to go but at least in the near future, up to mid-June, I think?, UA, AA or BA will get you from JFK to LHR for ~$475 all in. Much better experience!

The flight itsel is safe, the experience? I guess it depends on your expecations.

How do you book? What is a gds system. We will probably go in the end of summer when air fare is like 600. I am just curious because I guy I met at a bar said he flew them for like 400 and it was an o.k. flight experience. They don't allow anyone to smoke do they?

Mrs CS has. And has nothing she thinks is particularly good or bad to report about the experience. The plane was on time and the reading lights worked. What else is there to want to know about?

The flights (at least flying into and out of Kuwait) are dry, though she didn't try to see what would happen if she brought her own.

Don't bother trying to book these fares. I checked in on farecrawler.com a website that specializes in finding flights for adverrized fares. I searched April to June and not a single flight had availability for that fare.
