Kiwi.com?
Is anyone familiar with this company?
I was searching on Kayak for flights NYC/Palermo, then Catania/Dubrovnik/NYC for April and May and came up with some very inexpensive flights, in the $700-900 range from Kiwi.com.
It doesn't specify airlines, altho' it just says "Multiple Airlines". A couple of flights specified "Norwegian Airlines", but others didn't specify any airlines, even in the flight details. Some of the flight times are very reasonable, without any long layovers. Some are "hacker fares", which they describe as a combination of several one way fares.
I'm a little hesitant to follow through on this b/c I've never booked like this before.
Any info would be appreciated. TIA

I would never book a fare without knowing all the details. And I rarely book through any agency rather than with the actual airline(s) because it is a pain if/when something goes wrong. I know about consolidator fares, not sure about hacker fares.
Ah - seems Kayak has trademarked "hacker fares": https://www.kayak.com/news/new-way-f...-hacker-fares/
I would be interested to know whether this itinerary would be on one PNR. I would suspect not.
