Help with Delta terminal in Atlanta

I am flying from CMH-SAT next Wed June 20. There is 50 minutes for the connection. How can I find out what gates these will be? My concern is that if this is very far, I am mobility challenged and may need to request assistance. Can someone advise how to find out what gates these will arrive/depart? Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know that you can get a definitive answer on this. You may be able to determine the terminal, but gates can change. Get wheelchair assistance anyway. Regardless of how far apart the gates are, you should have some help with a quick connection like this.

There are never any guarantees when it comes to gate assignments so trying to determine now what gates will be see next week is a guess at best. For what it is worth today, Flight 1009 used Gate A28 and Flight 1790 used gate B29.

You can check the arrival/departure gates for those flights by using the Flight Status link on the Delta Website but you can only get info on the most recent three days, i.e. yesterday, today and tomorrow. So the first time info for a June 21 flight will appear will be June 20.

Regardless, why don't you call Delta and advise them of your mobility problem and you need assistance. They will have someone waiting at your arrival gate with either a wheel chair or a "golf cart" to transport you to your connecting gate.

I was in ATL about a month ago, and I think it's ungodly long from your gate to another terminal connction.

If ever an airpor needed 1 moving sidewalk or 10, it's ATL.

I would defintely get assistance.

Rasta, ATL has moving sidewalks between each concourse, close to two dozen of them. (But none on the concourses themselves.) A28 to B29 is really not all that long but I agree it is advisable in this case to contact Delta and arrange for assistance.

NoFlyZone - Try the trip when your gout flares up.

In the past I've flagged down a wheelchair person and offered them $10 or $20 to get me to my gate. Prices depend on distance.

It seems that Delta has it in for me, as I arrive at the last gate in the concourse and depart at the last gate in another concourse.

Also, if you don't see the poorly marked signs for the tram shuttle, you'll end up at the other far end of a concourse.

Here's a map for reference.

Unlike Rastaguy I found moving between terminals at ATL fairly easy and quick. My case was weekday travel around 10:30AM and went between terminals A and C in maybe less than 10 minutes.

Getting between concourses is no problem, but it can be a long walk down the concourse to the train between them if you're unlucky enough to get a gate at the end of one.

"Help with Delta terminal in Atlanta"—the entire Atlanta airport is more or less one huge Delta terminal!

I have a similar question. I am landing at T1 and my connecting flight is at "S". I have less than an hour to make it there. I can't find a map online that shows "S".... does anyone know? Thanks for your help in advance.

welcome to Fodors -- maybe start a new thread of your own. This one is more than 4 years old and people may not notice the new question at the end.

Oh - I see you did start a thread. Only problem is - it is on the 'Help' forum which is for technical assistance/problems using the website.

I meant start a thread here on the Air Travel board (or possibly even on the United States Forum so more 'eyes' will see it)

S terminal only applies to people originating or terminating in Atlanta. No flights operate out of S.

Flights operate out of concourses T, A, B, C, D, E and F.

You can never tell definitely where you will come in nor leave as gates tend to change a lot. However, assuming your incoming flight is on time you should have enough time unless your outbound flight is international. Tell us what airline(s) and routes and someone can make a better determination for you.
