Getting miles with Delta with Air Europa

Last month I flew from Gran Canary (LPA) to Madrid on Air Europa. It is a good three hour flight. Do I need to mail the boarding pass to Delta to get miles?

Not the most enjoyable flight. No free nothing. My Dell notebook saved me. I love the seven hour battery and I had games to play and shows of recorded television to watch.

By the way, if you haven't been to Gran Canary, check it out. June and July is their low season and there was a nice breeze in the air. Temperatures were a high of 80 and a low of 69. I had lunch each day for about 8.20 Euros and that included a big glass of wine and the hotels were very reasonable. I did not see anyone from the United States. Everyone was very friendly. This is my second year at Gran Canary. Great walking beach, too.

First, I would double-check to ensure it was a mileage-earning fare class - if not, no need to bother. Here is the earning chart:

If it is an earning fare, then I would call and find out where to send the boarding pass, but I believe you can send it to the following address:

Delta Air Lines, Inc.
SkyMiles Service Center, Dept. 654
P.O. Box 20532
Atlanta, GA 30320-2532

Or you can try faxing to the following number:

404-773-1945

If you are elite, I've had some success with them just doing everything over the phone.

As to the flight not being the most enjoyable, welcome to Spain. All three of the major airlines offer very poor amenities for short-haul flights. Haven't flown Air Europa, but have flown Spanair and they pretty awful.

Thanks for your responses. I'm at Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, and had to find a Starbucks to respond. The hotel is charging for Internet.
