I flew Delta Saturday (2 flights) and was upgraded to 1st on both so you know things aren't back to normal when a gold can snag a 1st upgrade ATL/MCO on a Saturday in summer.

Boarding was pretty much as I said before with young kids, people needing assistance, active military, Diamonds/Plats/1st/Comfort+Gold and then starting back of plane with row numbers grouped. I thought Delta was lax on my Houston (Hobby) flight to ATL. No Purell packet. There were no pre-flight drinks served in 1st, but there was shortly after take off along with Biscoff's, chocolate chip cereal bar (tiny), Goldfish, almonds. Of course being in first they came around more often. For some reason, the wine was terrible on the ATL/MCO leg (undrinkable). If you fly Delta to Hobby, don't expect much because Delta only has a handful of flights that go there (most go to Bush). I also found security extremely lax at Hobby. The TSA didn't even check/scan my boarding passes. Security only took a few minutes.

**Chicago-Boston route is where flight attendants go to die. We had the oldest, surliest bunch I've ever seen. **

The FA's on my HOU/ATL flight were chatting before takeoff and they were loud (and my hearing isn't that good). Their jump seats faced the passengers so I'm sure that carried their voices, but you could hear everything they said.

I'm flying tomorrow. No upgrade to ATL and just upgraded Comfort + to LEX. The MCO/ATL crews barely do service most flights or do a few rows and either run out of time or storms. They aren't very efficient on that route.
