Flights from Rome - Bali

Hi

December this year my wife and I are travelling to Europe for a 6 week holiday and would like to fly to Bali from Rome before heading to back home (Perth).

Any suggested flights and approx. prices would be much appreciated, thank you.

You can research that yourself easily with sites such as kayak.com or even one of the online agencies such as Travelocity or Expedia. At a minimum you can find who flies the routes and then call the airline(s) directly.

Consider the stopover options in the United Arab Emirates en route to the Pacific.

The great circle route from Rome to Bali passes over Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and India, so a route through Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Qatar on any of those flag carriers would be the most direct.

Agree that you should use a search engine like Kayak.

I take that back. It looks like there are no non-stops from the Gulf region to Bali, so the most direct route would be a 1-stop via Hong Kong (Cathay), Singapore (SingAir), Or Bangkok (Thai).

You'd probably get the best prices and options if you could fly from Amsterdam due to the colonial era links between the two
