here is the rest of the story...

June 13-19 TPA-KIX-TPA (Osaka)
August TPA-SFO-TPA (San Francisco)
August SFO-DCA-SFO (Washington DC)
September TPA-ANC-TPA (Anchorage)
November TPA-LGW-TPA (London)
November TPA-DUB-TPA (Dublin)
December TPA-DUB-TPA (Dublin)

There will probably be at least 2 more trips, one to Chicago and one to ? but nothing confirmed just yet.

Here's mine:

March: ORD-TUL-ORD (Tulsa)
March: ORD-PHX-ORD (Phoenix)
March: ORD-OGG-ORD (Maui)
June: ORD-NCE-ORD (Nice)
June/July: ORD-JAX-ORD (Jacksonville)
July: ORD-NRT, KIX-ORD (Tokyo, Osaka)
October: ORD-LGA (New York)

Plus maybe a business trip or two. That will probably take me to about 40K EQMs (United), so I'll need to pick up another 10K later in the year.

1) Jan: LAX-IAD-PVD-IAD-LAX (Providence)
2) Feb: LAX-LAS-LAX* (Las Vegas)
3) Mar: LGB-LAS-LGB (LGB= Long Beach)
4) Mar: LAX-IAD-LAX (Washington Dulles)
5) Apr: SNA-SFO-NGO-SFO-SNA* (Nagoya)
6) May: LAX-ORD-SDF-ORD-LAX* (Louisville)
7) May: LAX-IAD-LAX
8) May: SNA-LAS-SNA (SNA=Orange County)
9) Jun: LGB-JFK-LGB* (jetBlue award)
10) Jun-Jul: LAX-LHR-DUB-LHR-LAX (Dublin)
11) Aug: LAX-HNL-LAX* (Honolulu)
12) Nov: LAX-SFO-HKG-SGN-HKG-SFO-LAX (HCMC, Vietnam)

* these 5 of the 12 tickets are "free"

That's 49000 miles on UA. If UA has the double-EQM offer then a MR (or is it DER for double EQM run) to EZE or SIN would keep me at 1K status (and use up my last two SWUs).

Absent a whole heap of unplanned business or personal travel in the second half of the year, there's no way we'll renew our EXP status with AA; next year is more likely with a new RTW (perhaps piggybacked on the "error" trip to Cyprus sold by Alitalia a couple of months ago.)

Most of the trips I posted involve connections. , I just didn't see a need to post the entire itn.

Yes it's AA, already upgraded, and the actual route is TPA-DFW-LGW-DFW-TPA.

If I get lucky, it may be 767 with the new J seats.....

It's all about the miles.......

Well, stupid me. I didn't realize AA flew into Gatwick. I thought they only flew to LHR.

I can't beat Gardyloo but I'll ad my flights to this thread. AA, sorry, I'm loyal to UA.

Early Jan 06, ORD-SJU-ORD for a cruise
Last half of Jan 06, ORD-BKK-ORD
Early Feb 06, ORD-LAS-ORD
Late Mar/early Apr 06, ORD-FRA-ZRH-ORD
FUTURE PLANS for the rest of 06
August 06, ORD-HNL-ORD
Sept 06, ORD-BKK-ORD
Oct 06, ORD-MHT-ORD
Late Nov 06, ORD-FRA-ZRH-ORD

There just might be one more ORD-FRA trip in maybe late June or early July this summer, as DH and I need to go to Germany to do some research and museum visits.

Unlike AAFF, I posted connections, so it's not that impressive, believe me. Plus I don't think trips up and down the west coast are particularly noteworthy. Flying Alaska Airlines these days, if I limited it to on-time flights, it would be a very short list indeed.

Amtrak? That's great! I wish Amtrak would get their act together. I used to take the train from St. Louis to Kansas City for long weekends. Took it to Chicago when I was a teenager.
