Yes, but she said she probably didn't need to because she was in (relatively) good shape.

Yes, I could have gotten by with the lounges, but I was glad I made the choice to get the room.

Some biz flights I have been a wreck even so, since I can't sleep on planes even in a lie flat bed!!

This particular flight I felt ok. I wonder if the jet-lag treatment I got on Amazon helped? It did get good reviews.

The problem (at least for me) is, not knowing what condition you will be in on arrival. Anyway, it was worth the cost to me.

I stayed in a day room for a few hours in Miami once. We took a red-eye from CA and were headed out that afternoon. Got a 2 hour nap, shower, breakfast, and a break from the airport. It was worth it.

I've wondered the same when I took Jet Lag Rapid Reset (also from Amazon, great reviews). It seemed to minimize the intensity of the jet lag. I think you take two the night before your flight, two the day you arrive then two the day after. Repeat for flight back home.

Whether or not it offset the jet lag, I'm okay with taking a melatonin, L-Theanine, 5-HTP, GABA etc. supplement in the chance that it does.
