Sales aren't announced ahead of time. If people knew about an upcoming sale . . . no one would buy tix now.
And many times even the airlines don't know about their own sales -- since low fares are often based on matching another airline's promotions/sales.

Based on the experiences of the last couple of years, it's a pretty good bet that trans-Atlantic prices, even if discounted, will be higher for May than April, and even higher by the start of June. Bargain-hunting also depends very much on your airports of origin and arrival.
